• In a surprise move that stunned the music industry, an ALL-DOVER edition of the SWBMBB released a new 19-track CD in 2011! Recorded at Mansions Park pavilion in Manitou Springs (the City of Manitou Springs was foolish enough to issue us a noise variance permit) and at Cloon Cabin in Tranquil Acres (where the nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away)

HISTORY!
• The Spaghetti Western B-Movie Blues Band is, to quote Paul Simon,
a "loose affiliation of millionaires, and billionaires, and babies..."
Initially formed as a duo by John Dover (mini-keyboard, harmonica & vocals) and Steve Bracken (guitar) to perform at a weekend ski/casino/music party in March of 1989 at YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch near Winter Park, Colorado.
Our entrance/exit music was a cassette tape of the theme song to "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" by Ennio Morricone, which Steve and I had recorded a few days prior; hence, the namesake of the band.
Quite shockingly, my good friend & co-founder of the band Steve died just 3 months later under dubious circumstances while traveling on business in Atlanta.
But whenever I've played since then, our legacy carries on. Taking all comers, dozens of musicians--some beginners, some professionals, and everything in-between--have played with the band in garages, basements, offices, parties, and stages for over 30 years now!
And whether those who have played with us over the years knew it at the time, or not, I consider them all part of the band--once a SWBMBBer, always a Spaghetti Western B-Movie Blues Band-er!
